"Sleeping Sickness" new interactive music video released

City and Colour (aka Dallas Green of Alexisonfire) just released a new interactive video for “Sleeping Sickness,” his second single from Bring Me Your Love (Vagrant, 02/08).

You can view and interact with the video by following this link: http://cityandcolour.ca/sleepingsickness/sleep.html. Through using your mouse and keyboard you are able to zoom in and out and move around the video choosing the action you would like to see.

Director Vincent Morisset (who has directed videos for Arcade Fire among others) explains, "Traditional videos are mostly viewed on YouTube. I thought, 'Why spend $200,000 on a production and finish with this tiny pixilated thing? Since it will end up on a computer, let's take advantage of the possibilities that medium offers.'"

City and Colour headlines the Rogers Picnic festival this Sunday in Toronto (http://www.rogerspicnic.com/) but those of us in the states will have to wait until Austin City Limits or his fall tour supporting Tegan and Sara.
