When "Art of the State" arrived it stood out immediately because of the cover art - done by one of my favorite poster artists - Jay Ryan. When I hit play the CD stood out because it rocks. The Chicago-based band's latest record is 38 minutes of rock frenzy/fury. A little prog rock - a little metal.. Bob Weston recorded and mixed at Electrical Audio, Chicago.
